Max. 7 (DMC-LZ8) • If you are following a moving subject while taking pictures in a place where there is a large difference between the light and shade, the exposure may not become optimal. • If you take pictures in burst mode with the built-in memory, it will take time to write the picture data. • In burst mode, auto review is activated even if the setting is off. • Burst mode cannot be set in [STARRY SKY] and [HI-SPEED BURST] modes. • Auto bracket mode setting is canceled when [BURST] is activated. [COLOR EFFECT] T Setting color effects for the recorded pictures * The burst speed is constant regardless of the transfer speed of the card. • The focus is fixed when the first picture is taken. The exposure and the white balance vary depending on the burst mode setting. (When burst mode is set to [ ], they are fixed to the values set for the first picture and when the burst speed is set to [ ], they are adjusted each time you take a picture.) • When the self-timer is used, the number of recordable pictures in burst mode is fixed to 3. • In burst mode, the flash setting is fixed to Forced FLASH OFF [ ]. • Burst mode is not canceled even when the camera is turned off. • When the burst mode setting is set to [ ], the burst speed becomes slower halfway. (The exact timing of this depends on the type of card and each settings.) • The burst speed may become slower if the ISO sensitivity is set to high or in dark places. You can use following types of color effects depending on the image of the picture. Item OFF B/W SEPIA COOL WARM Setting Standard setting Black and white Sepia colored pictures More blue More red • Noise may become noticeable when taking pictures in dark places. If it bothers you, we recommend setting [COLOR EFFECT] to [OFF]. • When in intelligent auto mode [ ], [COOL] and [WARM] cannot be set. • When in intelligent auto mode [ ], it is set independently from other modes. 75 VQT1L86
