Scene Mode Advanced-Shooting Set the recording/playback switch to [ ] (P18). When you select a scene mode to match the subject and recording situation, the camera sets the optimal exposure and hue to obtain the desired picture. • Refer to P56 to 60 for details about the modes. 1 Turn the mode dial to match [SCN]. • If you set [SCENE MENU] in SETUP menu to [OFF], the previous scene mode is set. 2 Press e/r/w/q to select the scene mode. SCENE MODE ç BABY1 SELECT DISPLAY SET 3 Press [MENU/SET]. Press [MENU/SET], q and then perform steps 2 and 3 to change the scene mode. ■ Scene mode help [ INFORMATION] • To see explanations about the scene modes, press [DISPLAY] while a scene mode is selected in step 2. Press again to return to the scene mode menu. INFORMATION BABY1 Suitable for taking pictures of your baby. Age can be displayed with pictures if you set the birthday. CANCEL SET • Refer to P45 for the shutter speed. • Flash settings return to the factory settings when you change the scene mode despite it remains still even if the camera is turned off. • The color of the picture may seem strange if you use a scene mode that is unsuitable for the shot. • When you press [MENU/SET] to display the menu screen, then you can move to the REC mode menu, SETUP menu, etc. Select [ ] icon with w and select [ ] (REC mode menu) or [ ] (SETUP menu) with r.
