Playback (basic) Using the Playback Zoom 1 Rotate the zoom lever towards [ ] to enlarge the picture. 2X • When you move the position to be displayed, the zoom position indication is displayed for about 1 second. ∫ To delete a picture during playback zoom Press the [ ] button. When you rotate the zoom lever towards [ ], the magnification becomes higher. • When you change the magnification, the zoom position indication A appears for about 1 second to check the position of the section enlarged. • When you press the [MENU] button, the magnification reverts to 1k. 2 Shift the picture. 2X • When you use the zoom function on rotated pictures, they are not displayed in the rotated direction (P72). • The more the picture is enlarged, the more its quality deteriorates. • The playback zoom may not operate if pictures have been recorded with other equipment. • Even if the indications on the LCD monitor are turned off in normal playback mode (P28), the magnification and enabled operations appear on the LCD monitor when the playback zoom is activated. • You can switch whether you turn the indications on the LCD monitor on or off by pressing the [DISPLAY] button.
