Chapter 5 Shooting - Audio input Monitoring the audio Audio recorded with the unit can be heard with a speaker or headphones. Audio is not output from the speaker during shooting. Setting the output audio Sets the audio channel and the format to be output from the headphone terminal. 1 Select the [AUDIO] menu → [OUTPUT SETTINGS] → [AUDIO OUT]. 2 Select the type of audio. [CH1]: Outputs the signal for audio channel 1 as monaural. [CH2]: Outputs the signal for audio channel 2 as monaural. [CH1/2 STEREO]: Outputs the signals of the audio channel 1 and the audio channel 2 as stereo. [CH1/2 MIX]: Mixes the signals of the audio channel 1 and the audio channel 2 and outputs as monaural. @ NOTE 0 Adjust the volume of the headphones and built-in speaker as follows. j During recording, volume is adjusted with the [ AUDIO MON] multi manual function.
