Getting Started Adjusting the Viewfinder Diopter Adjust the viewfinder to suit your eyesight. 1 If it is difficult to see the viewfinder image clearly, turn the diopter adjustment dial up or down. 1 Press the G button and switch to the viewfinder. 2 Look through the viewfinder and turn the diopter adjustment dial up or down. Adjust the dial until the image in the viewfinder appears clearly focused. Point the camera at a white wall or other bright and consistent surface.
