Mode] menu and register them on the four-way controller. The functions can then be retrieved in Capture mode by pressing the 0 button to display the Function Mode screen, enabling you to change the setting using the four-way controller. Settings Registering a Function 1 2 73 4 5 Select [Fn Setting] on the [B Set-up] menu. Press the four-way controller (5). The Fn Setting screen appears. Fn Setting Recorded Pixels Use the four-way controller (23) to choose a key on which to register a function. Use the four-way controller (45) Quality Level EV Comp. (-) EV Comp. (+) MENU E x i t OK OK to choose the function to register. The default settings are as follows: Recorded Pixels on 2, Quality Level on 3, EV Compensation (-) on 4 and EV Compensation (+) on 5. Select [Off] if you do not want to register a function. Press the OK button twice. The camera is ready to take or play back images. • Only one function can be registered on each key of the four-way controller. • You can choose from the following ten functions: Recorded Pixels, Quality Level, White Balance, Focusing Area, AE Metering, Sensitivity, Sharpness, Saturation, Contrast and EV Compensation (+) / (-). Select [Off] if you do not want to register a function. 130
