Elongation (3) Elongation is used to lengthen satin stitches. The entire stitch will be longer but the density will remain the same. For 1.5: Touch the center of the touch wheel. The icon changes to show an elongation symbol. Increase or decrease the elongation of the satin stitch using "+" and "-". ambition™ 1.5 If elongation is not avaliable for the selected stitch, a warning sound will be heard when touching the center of the touch wheel, and the icon will not change. For 1.0: Press the "+" and "-" on the elongation button to increase or decrease the elongation of the 4 satin stitch. If elongation is not avalibale for the selected stitch, a warning sound will be heard when pressing the elongation button. Thread tension (4) Your machine will show the recommended thread tension setting for the selected stitch.
