Preparations Presser foot lift The presser foot is raised manually by swinging the presser foot lift up to the right. It is lowered by swinging it down to the left. See page 3:9 on how to raise and lower your presser foot automatically. Changing the presser foot Turn off the on/off switch Snap off the presser foot Press the front part of the presser foot up and, at the same time the rear part down until it disengages from the presser foot holder. Snap on the presser foot Place the presser foot under the presser foot holder, so that when the presser foot lift is lowered the pins of the foot snap onto the presser foot holder. Check that the presser foot is properly attached by raising the presser foot lift. 2:3
