English Special DVD features Checking the contents of DVD-Video discs: Menus For titles and chapters, selection menus may be included on the disc. The DVD's menu feature allows you to make selections from these menus. Press the appropriate numeric key, or use the w, v, u, t (down/up/right/left) keys to highlight your selection, and press OK. Title menus q Press DISC MENU. ➤ If the current title has a menu, this will now appear on the screen. If no menu is present in the title, the disc menu will be displayed. q The menu may list camera angles, spoken language and subtitle options, and chapters for the title. q To remove the title menu, press DISC MENU again. Menu Disc q Press T followed by DISC MENU. ➤ The disc menu will be displayed. q To remove the disc menu, press DISC MENU again. Camera Angle If the disc contains sequences recorded from different camera angles, the angle icon } will appear, showing the number of available angles and the angle being shown. You can then change the camera angle if you wish. q Use the w v (down/up) keys to select the required angle in the angle icon. q To go to any angle directly, enter the angle number using the numeric keys 0-9. ➤ After a small delay, play will change to the selected angle. The angle icon will continue to be displayed until multiple angles are no longer available. Changing the audio language q Select Y (Audio) in the menu bar. q Press Y or w v (down/up cursors) repeatedly to move through the different languages. q You can enter the required language number directly using the numeric keys 0-9. Subtitles q Select Z (Subtitle) in the menu bar. q Press Z or w v (down/up cursors) repeatedly to move through the different subtitle languages. q You can enter the required subtitle number directly using the numeric keys 0-9. Special VCD Features Playback Control (PBC) q Load a Video CD with PBC and press 2 PLAY. ➤ The PBC menu will appear on the TV screen. q Go through the menu with the keys indicated on the TV screen until your chosen passage starts to play. If a PBC menu consists of a list of tracks, you can select a track directly. q Enter your choice with the numeric keys 0-9. q Press RETURN to go back to the previous menu. OPERATION - VIDEO 35

Checking the contents of DVD-Video discs:
Menus
For titles and chapters, selection menus may be included
on the disc. The DVD’s menu feature allows you to
make selections from these menus. Press the
appropriate numeric key, or use the
w
,
v
,
u
,
t
(down/up/right/left) keys to highlight your selection, and
press
OK
.
Title menus
Press
DISC MENU
.
If the current title has a menu, this will now
appear on the screen. If no menu is present in the
title, the disc menu will be displayed.
The menu may list camera angles, spoken language
