SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES  The carbon monoxide sensor on this generator is not designed to detect smoke, fire, or any other gas. It will only activate due to the presence of carbon monoxide gas at the sensor. Carbon monoxide gas may be present in other areas.  The carbon monoxide shutoff feature on this generator is not a substitute for safe generator practices. Always operate the generator in open, outdoor areas, at least 20 feet away from occupied structures. Never operate the generator in fully or partly enclosed areas or near open windows, doors, or other unventilated spaces.  DO NOT tamper with, adjust, or modify the carbon monoxide (CO) sensor module on your generator. Failure to follow these instructions can cause the monitor to malfunction which can result in death or serious personal injury.  Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who may use this product. If you loan someone this product, loan them these instructions also. 5 - English
