Connections Installing the Speakers on the Tallboy Stand 1. Stretch out the speaker cable and get it through as shown. ✎ NOTE  When installing the front and surround speakers, match the label color of the stand with the cable color of the speaker. 1 Stand Base Stand Pole 2. Fit the stand pole into the stand base. (if they do not fit with each other, the stand may get tilted from 2 an improper installation.) 3. Tighten up the screws (large) (3.5x18, x3) as shown. 3 ! CAUTION  If you use a torque screwdriver, be careful not to apply excessive force. You can damage the pole or strip the screws. (Torque screwdriver- below 84 lbf/in or 15 kgf/cm) Stand Base Stand Pole Connecting Speaker Wire 1. Loosen a knob on the subwoofer by turning counterclockwise. 2. Match the polarity of the wire to the polarity of the terminal. The red wire is plus (+) and the black wire is minus (-). 3. Insert the bare part of the wire into the hole in the side of each terminal. 4. Tighten the knob by turning clockwise to secure the wire. ✎ NOTE  Keep the subwoofer speaker out of reach of children to prevent them from inserting their hands or objects into the duct (hole).  Never touch speaker terminals while the power is on. Doing so could result in electric shock.  Make sure the polarities (+ and -) are correct. 30 English

Connecting Speaker Wire
Loosen a knob on the subwoofer by turning counterclockwise.
Match the polarity of the wire to the polarity of the terminal. The
red wire is plus (+) and the black wire is minus (-).
Insert the bare part of the wire into the hole in the side of each
terminal.
Tighten the knob by turning clockwise to secure the wire.
NOTE
Keep the subwoofer speaker out of reach of children to prevent them from inserting their hands or objects
into the duct (hole).
Never touch speaker terminals while the power is on. Doing so could result in electric shock.
Make sure the polarities (+ and -) are correct.
