My Camera > Lenses Locking or unlocking the lens To lock the lens, pull and hold the zoom lock switch away from the camera body and rotate the zoom ring as shown in the illustration. To unlock the lens, rotate the zoom ring as shown in the illustation until you hear the click. You cannot capture a photo when the lens is locked. 46

Locking or unlocking the lens
To lock the lens, pull and hold the zoom lock switch away from the camera
body and rotate the zoom ring as shown in the illustration.
To unlock the lens, rotate the zoom ring as shown in the illustation until
you hear the click.
You cannot capture a photo when the lens is locked.
