ENG Settings Audio Tone You can adjust the audio tone quality to suit the kind of music you're listening to. 1. Select XM ¨ Settings ¨ Preferences ¨ EQ Set. 2. You will see a list of tone characteristics. Use the up, down, and XM buttons to select the one you prefer. 3. Press the XM button to confirm your selection. Line Out Level/FM Audio Level If you connect NeXus to another stereo system, you can adjust NeXus's audio level to match other audio sources. This is not a volume control; use the volume control on your stereo instead. When your NeXus is plugged into the car cradle, the FM modulator turns on if you do not connect anything to the cradle's audio output. In that case, this level control sets the audio level being transmitted on FM. 1. Select XM ¨ Settings ¨ Setup ¨ Line Out Level (or FM Audio Level). 2. Use the left or right arrow buttons to decrease or increase the audio level. 3. Press the XM button to confirm your selection.
