Sound Section 12 Sound lets you specify what (if any) text prompts you want your phone to read to you through the earpiece. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press mno (for Voice SVC), abc (for Voice Settings), and ghi for Sound. The following options appear in the display: ⅷ Prompts - On/Off - Enables or disables audio prompts. ⅷ Digits - On/Off - Enables or disables digit playback. ⅷ Names - On/Off - Enables or disables name playback. ⅷ Name Settings - Lets you adjust the Speed (Faster or Slower) and Volume (Louder or Softer) of your phone's audio name playback. 2. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the desired option, then press the key. 3. Use the Up and Down navigation keys to highlight the desired setting. 4. Press the key or the OK (left) soft key ( ) to accept the new setting. Press the CLR key to discard the new setting and return to the Sound menu. Voice Launch To set the key or action that launches VoiceSignal, do the following: 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press mno (for Voice SVC), abc (for Voice Settings), and jkl for Voice Launch.
