Section 13 Phone Settings Shortcut Key The Up navigation key can be customized to launch any one of numerous applications or functions from standby mode. Use the Shortcut Key sub-menu to choose the application that you wish the navigation up key to launch. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), jkl (for Phone Settings), and abc for Shortcut. The following functions appear in the display: ⅷ My Images ⅷ My Ringtones ⅷ My Sounds ⅷ Inbox ⅷ Tools ⅷ Calculator ⅷ Tip Calculator ⅷ Alarm Clock ⅷ Converter ⅷ Calendar ⅷ Stop Watch 2. Use the navigation keys to highlight the desired function, then press the key. You can now press the Up navigation key in standby mode to launch the selected function. Section 13: Settings 195
