Section 13 Phone Settings NAM Selection NAM Selection allows you to set your preferred system. Contact your wireless carrier for more information. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), jkl (for Phone Settings), and jkl for NAM Selection. The following NAM options appear in the display: ⅷ NAM 1 - Your service contract has one phone line. ⅷ NAM 2 - Your service contract has two phone lines. 2. Use the navigation keys and to highlight NAM 1 or NAM 2, the press to save your selection. The phone automatically restarts. System Select The System Select feature enables you to automatically or manually select the network used when roaming outside of your home area. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), jkl (for Phone Settings), and mno for System Select. The following roaming options appear in the display: ⅷ metroPCS only - Roaming is off. If your home system is not available then your call will not be connected, and the no service icon ( ) appears in the display.
