Section 13 Key Tone Key Tone lets you adjust the volume level and length of tone that the keypad generates each time you press a key. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), def (for Sound Settings), and ghi for Key Tone. The following options appear in the display: ⅷ Tone Level (volume) ⅷ Tone Length Tone Level is highlighted. 2. Press the key to adjust the Key Tone volume. ⅷ Use the volume keys or navigation keys to set the keypad tones volume. ⅷ Press the key when the desired key beep volume setting is reached. You are returned to the Key Tone sub-menu. 3. Use the navigation keys to highlight Tone Length, then press the key. ⅷ Use the navigation keys to highlight Short or Long. ⅷ Press the key to save your setting. You are returned to the Key Tone sub-menu. Dynamic Vibration Set your phone to vibrate in sync with ringtones and melodies your phone plays. 1. In standby mode, press the Menu (left) soft key ( ), then press wxyz (for Settings), def (for Sound Settings), and jkl for Dynamic Vibration. 188
