Because of various transmission methods, network parameters, and user settings used to complete a call from your wireless phone, a connection cannot always be guaranteed. Therefore, emergency calling may not be available on all wireless networks at all times. DO NOT depend on this phone as a primary method of calling 911 or for any other essential or emergency communications. Remember to always turn your phone on and check for adequate signal strength before placing a call. Storing emergency numbers To store emergency numbers: 1. In standby mode, press to display the main menu. 2. Press for Security and enter your current lock code. 3. Press for Emergency #. 4. Press , , or to select from the three entry openings. 5. Enter the emergency number. Up to 32 digits can be entered for each number. 6. Press to save the number entered. 7. Press to exit and return to the previous menu. Calling emergency numbers in lock mode To call emergency numbers in lock mode: 1. In standby mode, use the keypad to enter the emergency number. 2. Press to place the call. 124
