Home Screen The Home screen is the starting point for using your phone. Extended Home Screen The Home screen consists of the Home panel, plus 4 panels that extend beyond the display width to provide more space for adding shortcuts, widgets and folders. Note: Unless stated otherwise, instructions in this User Manual start with the phone unlocked, at the Home screen. 20 Slide your finger horizontally across the screen to scroll to the left or right side panels. As you scroll, the indicator dots at the bottom of the display shows your current position. Customizing the Home Screen Panels Customize the Home screen to suit your preferences. • Add Widgets: For more information, refer to "Adding Widgets to a Home Screen panel" on page 22. • Add Shortcuts: For more information, refer to "Adding Shortcuts to a Home Screen panel" on page 21.
