Phone Basics Features of Your Sprint PCS Phone Congratulations on the purchase of your Sprint PCS Phone. The Sprint PCS Vision Phone VI-A820 by Samsung is lightweight, easy-to-use, and reliable, and it also offers many significant features and service options. The following list previews some of those features and provides page numbers where you can find out more: ⅷ Tri-Mode capability allows you to make and receive calls while on the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network and to roam on other 1900 and 800 MHz digital networks where Sprint has implemented roaming agreements (page 79). ⅷ Sprint PCS Ready LinkSM provides instant walkie-talkiestyle communication between 2 or more Ready Link users (up to 6 on a group call) (page 150). ⅷ Voice SMS Messaging allows you to send voice messages to others using an email address or mobile phone number (page 191). ⅷ Missed events are displayed on-screen in standby mode (page 195). ⅷ Sprint PCS VisionSM provides access to the wireless Internet in digital mode (page 197). ⅷ Sprint PCS Mail and SMS Text Messaging provide quick and convenient messaging capabilities (page 205 and page 187, respectively). ⅷ Sprint PCS Voice CommandSM lets you dial phone numbers by speaking someone's name or the digits of their phone number (page 221). ⅷ Games, ringers, screen savers, and other applications can be downloaded to make your Sprint PCS Phone as unique as you are (page 209, additional charges may apply.)
