MAKING COLOR COPIES (Color Mode) When color and black & white originals are mixed together, you can have the machine automatically detect whether each original is color or black & white and make each copy accordingly. The procedure for copying with the color Original Copy mode set to "Auto" for automatic detection of color and black & white is explained below. The side to be scanned must be face up! 1 Place the originals. When using the document glass, place the original with the side to be scanned face down. Color Mode Full Color (1) Exposure Auto 1. 8½x11 2. 5½x8½ 3. 8½x14 4. 8½x11 Plain 8½x11 Copy Ratio 100% Original Paper Select Auto 8½x11 Plain Special Modes 2-Sided Copy Output File Quick File 2 Select settings in the touch panel. (1) Touch the [Color Mode] key. Color Mode Full Color Auto (2) Single Color 2 Color OK (3) (2) Touch the [Auto] key. (3) Touch the [OK] key. 39
