Sonos Controller for Mac The Sonos Controller for Mac is compatible with Macintosh OS X, version 10.4 or later. (For the latest system requirements and compatible audio formats, you can visit our Web site at http://faq.sonos.com/specs.) For easy setup, you should install the Sonos Controller software on every Macintosh computer in your network that contains music files. During the setup process, you may be asked to configure your Macintosh's firewall for Sonos. Also, if your Macintosh computer does not have Windows Sharing enabled, the Sonos Controller for Mac will guide you through the process of enabling it.
