Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Display, Y E S, Menu help, Y E S . 2. Select On or Off and press Y E S . Menu Language Most modern SIM cards automatically set the menu language to the language of the country where you bought your SIM card, Automatic. If this is not the case, the pre-set language is English. To change the menu language 1. Scroll to Settings, Y E S , Language, Y E S , Menus, Y E S . 2. Select a language and press Y E S . To select a language that you want to use when writing text, see "Input Languages" on page 32. Tip: You can always select Automatic by pressing , 8888, in standby, and English by pressing , 0000, in standby. My Shortcuts To reach your favourite functions and settings quickly and easily, you can place them in the menu My shortcuts. You place them there by selecting them in the list of Edit shortcuts. To select your favourite settings for My shortcuts 1. Scroll to My shortcuts, Y E S , Edit shortcuts, Y E S . 2. Select or clear a setting from the list by scrolling to it and pressing . 3. If you select a new setting, enter the position number you want for it in this menu. Press Y E S . 4. Press Y E S to save your settings and exit the list. When you buy your phone, the menu My shortcuts contains a few settings which you can delete if you wish.
