The settings specify all the information your phone needs to communicate with a certain server on the Internet, for example, the address of that server. You can have several data accounts saved in your phone, with different settings for different purposes. For fast and efficient access, try the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) as the access type. In order to browse via WAP, you also need to enter settings for a WAP profile and select which WAP profile you want to use when browsing. In order to use the e-mail program in your phone, you also need to enter settings for an e-mail account and select which e-mail account you want to use when sending and receiving e-mail messages. Note: The settings may already be entered when you buy the phone, or you can receive the settings from your network operator or your Internet service provider. You can receive settings from http://mobileinternet.ericsson.com. Data Account Settings The main setting for a data account is the access type (connection method). You can choose between two access types: • GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) data GPRS allows fast and efficient access where you can be always online. You need a subscription that supports GPRS. In order to browse via WAP or use the e-mail program in your phone,
you must enter settings for a
data account
in your phone. The settings
