To add files to a playlist 1 From standby select Menu > Media > Music > Playlists. 2 Select a playlist. 3 Scroll to Add music and select Add. 4 For each track you want to add, scroll to the track and select Mark. 5 Select Add to add the tracks to the playlist. To remove tracks from a playlist 1 From standby select Menu > Media > Music > Playlists. 2 Select a playlist. 3 Scroll to the track and press . Audio books You can listen to audio books that you have transferred to your phone from a computer using Sony Ericsson Media Manager. It may take a few minutes before a transferred audio book appears in the list of available audio books. To play audio books 1 When the phone is closed, press to go to the Walkman® player. 2 Press . 3 Press and select Audio books. 4 Select an audio book. 5 Scroll to a chapter and press . Audio books in other formats than M4B or audio books that do not have ID3v2 chapter tags can be found in the Tracks folder. FM transmitter You can play music or audio books saved in your phone through an external radio over the FM radio frequency band. The icon indicates transmission. Do not use the FM transmitter in places where this is prohibited. The FM transmitter will not work in countries where it is not legal, when the phone is in flight mode or where there is no network coverage. To transmit music to an FM radio 1 Place the phone up to 10 metres (33 feet) from the radio, with no solid objects in between. The maximum distance varies depending on the surrounding environment. 2 External FM radio: Tune in an unused frequency. 3 Phone: From standby select Menu > Media > Music. 4 Browse by category using the navigation key. 5 Scroll to a title and select Play. 6 Select Options > FM transmitter. 20 Walkman® This is the Internet version of the User's guide. © Print only for private use.
