This function - Peak Search works as foams: Continuous or shuffle play mode - Searches all selections of the disc which is ready to be played Program (Bank) play mode - Searches all programmed selections Unless you are using program play mode. the player wit scan only the disc ready to be played, even in ALL DISCS mode. Playing Peak Search D Press P.SEARCH during stop. TEAK' flashes in the display. AN the selections in the disc or program wil be searched automatically. N-PEAK-* appears and the loudest portion will play repeatedly for 4 seconds. Adjust the recording level on your tape dedc according to the peak level. To stop peak seen* Press& Protei► to start play from the beginning of the disc. Press N to pause at the first selection. 'PEAK' will disappear from the display. To go to another disc Press DISC SKIP during slop. Me is Peak Search The unit scans input levels of the whole disc and determines the peak (maximum input level) among them. The peak determined with this function is sometimes slightly different from the reel one. In addition, portions determined as a peak vary each time this function is carried out on the same disc. The difference between the determined and the real peak is however, negligible and will not prevent you from adjusting the recording level.
