emode -- The Privacy Mode of the SNMP v3 User, with none and DES options. None indicates no privacy method is used, and DES indicates DES encryption method is used. By default, the Privacy Mode is "none". encrypt-pwd -- Privacy Password, ranging from 1 to 16 characters. The question marks and spaces are not allowed. This password in the configuration file will be displayed in the symmetric encrypted form. Command Mode Global Configuration Mode Privilege Requirement Only Admin level users have access to these commands. To delete the corresponding Community, please use no snmp-server community command. SNMP v1 and SNMP v2c adopt community name authentication. The community name can limit access to the SNMP agent from SNMP network management station, functioning as a password. Syntax snmp-server community name { read-only | read-write } mib-view no snmp-server community name Parameter name -- Community Name, ranging from 1 to 16 characters. read-only | read-write -- The access rights of the community, with read-only and read-write options. mib-view -- The MIB View for the community to access. 325
