THE GRAND TOUR The Grand Tour Chapter 2 This chapter identifies the various components of your computer. Become familiar with each component before you operate the computer. Front with the display closed Figure 2-1 shows the computer's front with its display panel in the closed position. Slide the latch to open the display. Use this dial to adjust the volume of the system speaker and headphones. A standard 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a monaural microphone or other device for audio input. 2-1

If the battery is completely discharged, it will not begin charging immediately. Wait a few minutes.	191
Unplug the AC adaptor and remove the battery to make sure the terminals are clean. If necessary wipe them with a soft dry cloth dipped in alcohol.	191
