Features, Utilities and Options Options You can add a number of options to make your computer even more powerful and convenient to use. You can buy the following options from TOSHIBA dealer. DDR2-533 Memory Kit DDR2-667 Memory Kit USB FDD Kit Universal AC Adaptor Battery Pack Slice Expansion Battery Battery Charger TOSHIBA Express Port Replicator Tablet PC Pen Reserve Pen A 256, 512 or 1,024 MB memory module (DDR2533) can easily be installed in the computer. A 256, 512 or 1,024 MB memory module (DDR2667) can easily be installed in the computer. The USB floppy disk drive accommodates either 3 1/2" 1.44-megabyte or 720-kilobyte floppy disks through connection to a USB port. Please note that you cannot format 720-kilobyte floppy disks under Windows XP, but you are able to use disks that have been previously formatted. If you use your computer at more than one site frequently, it may be convenient to purchase an additional AC adaptor for each site so you will not have to carry the adaptor with you. An additional battery pack can be purchased from your TOSHIBA dealer. Use it as a spare or replacement. This battery pack increases your computer's operating time when a main battery pack is also installed. It is connectable to the Docking Port of the computer. The battery charger lets you charge extra batteries outside the computer. The TOSHIBA Express Port Replicator provides the ports available on the computer in addition to a digital visual interface (DVI) port, External monitor port, four Universal Serial Bus ports (USB 2.0) and a LAN jack. Additional Tablet PC Pens can be purchased from your TOSHIBA dealer for use as spare items (spare pen tips and a tip draw-out tool are included).
