Detection of the low battery The EC detects the low battery point by the gas gauge. ? LB10M= The system will be driven by the battery for 12 more minutes. ? LB0 = The battery won't be able to drive the system after 3 minutes. ? LB1 = The battery can drive the system only during the suspend process. ? LB2 = The battery cannot drive the system. 9. New battery installation When a new battery is installed, the EC communicates with the E2PROM in the battery to read information of the newly installed battery. 10.
