6 Operation Notes: • To learn how to use the operation panel and understand the LCD, refer to section 2.2 Operation Panel. • To understand how to use the UPS communication interfaces, refer to section 2.3 Rear Panels and section 7 Communication Interfaces. 6.1 Start-Up Procedures Once the UPS is connected to the AC utility, the AC utility supplies power to the UPS. To turn on the UPS, press and hold the button for 3 seconds and release after you hear a beep. 6.2 Shutdown Procedures 1.
