Service Call Check Please check the following before calling for service: 1. Place one cup of water in a glass measuring cup in the microwave oven and close the door securely. Operate the microwave oven for one minute at HIGH 100%. A Does the microwave oven light come on? YES _____ NO _____ B Does the cooling fan work? (Put your hand over the rear ventilating openings.) YES _____ NO _____ C Does the turntable rotate? (It is normal for the turntable to turn in either direction.) YES _____ NO _____ D Is the water in the microwave oven warm? YES _____ NO _____ E Does "H" appear on the display when fan is manually turned on? YES _____ NO _____ 2. Remove water from the oven and operate the oven for 5 minutes at Convec 450˚F. Operate the microwave oven for one minute at HIGH 100%. A Do CONV and COOK indicators light? YES _____ NO _____ B After the oven shuts off, is inside of the microwave oven hot? YES _____ NO _____ If "NO" is the answer to any of the above questions, please check electrical outlet, fuse and/or circuit breaker. If they are functioning properly, CONTACT YOUR NEAREST AUTHORIZED SERVICER. A microwave oven should never be serviced by a "do-ityourself" repair person. Note: If time appearing in the display is counting down very rapidly, check Demonstration Mode on page 26 and cancel. Product Care 31 E
