The factors that influence the lifetime of the battery:  The frequency of use and time the LCD is active  The frequency of use of the flash  Quantity of image shooting  Temperature (the lifetime of the battery when the camera is used in low temperature environment is shortened). Note:  Do not use Manganese batteries for this camera. Alkaline batteries are recommended.  Don't take out the battery when powered on. This will affect the internal settings and functions of the camera.  The following situation will affect the lifetime of the battery:  LCD screen is on  LCD in playback status for a long time.  Please replace with new batteries when the battery level is low.  Please take out the batteries if you plan not to use the camera for a long time.  Do not insert batteries that show signs of leakage, erosion or are inflated.
