Answering system Message capacity The answering system can record and store up to 99 messages. A message can be up to four minutes in length. The total storage capacity for the announcement, messages and memos is approximately 14 minutes. The actual recording time depends on individual message characteristics. Messages will remain available for replay until they are deleted. Activate the answering system The answering system must be turned on to answer and record messages. Press ANS ON/OFF to turn the answering system on or off. If the answering system is turned on, it will announce "Calls will be answered," and the ANS ON/OFF light will be on. If the answering system is turned off, it will announce "Calls will not be answered," and the ANS ON/OFF light will be off. • Answering system operation is suspended while a system handset is in use. Message capacity
The answer±ng system can record and store up to 99 messages. A message can
be up to four m±nutes ±n length. The total storage capac±ty for the announcement,
messages and memos ±s approx±mately 14 m±nutes. The actual record±ng t±me
depends on ±nd±v±dual message character±st±cs. Messages w±ll rema±n ava±lable
for replay unt±l they are deleted.
