If using the telephone. you still hear other calls, the problem is probably in the wiring or local service. Call your local telephone company. I hear noise on the cordless handset, and none of the keys or buttons works. My caller ID features are not working properly. • Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged in securely. • Caller ID is a subscription service. You must subscribe to this service from your local telephone company for this feature to work on your telephone. • The caller may not be calling from an area which supports caller ID. • Both you and the caller's telephone companies must use equipment which are compatible with the caller ID service. • The caller ID information will be displayed after the first or second ring. • If you subscribe to high-speed Internet service (Digital Subscriber Line - DSL) through your telephone lines, you must install a DSL filter between the telephone base and the telephone wall jack.
