SPEAKER MODE SETTINGS This unit is equipped with a main amplifier capable of handling 5.1 channel. Although up to 6 speakers can be connected, it is possible to select the speaker mode that gives the best sound field effect according to the number and size of speakers being used. Before use, please set the speaker mode setting using "1 SPEAKER SET" on the SET MENU described on page 36. Summary of SPEAKER SET Items 1A through 1E Item 1A CENTER SP 1B MAIN SP 1C REAR L/R SP 1D LFE/BASS OUT 1E MAIN LEVEL Description Selects the output mode according to whether or not a center speaker is being used and its performance. Control value (default setting indicated in bold) LRG/SML/NONE Selects the output mode according to the performance of the main speakers. LARGE/SMALL Selects the output mode according to whether or not rear L/R speakers are being used and their performance. LRG/SML/NONE Selects the speaker according to use for LFE signal output and low bass signal. SWFR/MAIN/BOTH Selects the main speaker level. Normal/-10 dB 20

SPEAKER MODE SETTINGS
