Playing the Instrument Stand-alone Playing back a Song - [SONG] This section explains how to play the preset Songs. Songs 00 to 100 (No. 00 is the Demo Song) can be selected by using the instrument. 1 Press the [SONG] button, and then use the [+] and [-] buttons to select the desired Song. Song name Holding down the [SONG] button starts playback of "00:Clocks (Demo)." 2 Press the [3/+] (Start/Stop) button to start playback. During Song playback, the playback position (current measure/total number of measures) is shown in the display, and the Stream Lights (page 27) start lighting in succession. 3 To stop playback of the Song, press the [3/+] (Start/Stop) button. Fast forward/rewind Press the [+] or [-] button during playback of the Song. Pressing either of them once moves forward/ backward one measure. Holding either of them scrolls forward/backward continuously. Returning to the top of the Song Press the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously to return to the top of the Song during playback. Repeat playback Call up "Song Repeat" by using the [FUNCTION] button (page 28) to select the type of Song Repeat. Then, select the desired Song and start playback to start repeat playback in the selected type. Adjusting the tempo - [TEMPO] The [TEMPO] button lets you change the playback tempo of metronome (page 27), Style (page 25) and Song (page 26). Press the [TEMPO] button, and then use the [+] and [-] buttons to adjust the tempo. You can change the tempo by tapping the [TEMPO] button twice or more at the desired tempo. 26 P-S500 Owner's Manual
