RUNNING H/F 1 TUNING Automatic and manual tuning There are two tuning methods; automatic and manual. Automatic tuning is effective when station signals are strong and there is no interference. ■ Automatic tuning 1 3 2 3,4 4 4 Rotate MULTI JOG to begin automatic tuning. Rotate rightward to tune into a higher frequency, or rotate leftward to tune into a lower frequency. TUNING MODE AUTO Disappears If a colon (:) appears on the front panel display, press PRESET/TUNING to turn it off. Automatic tuning

Rotate INPUT SELECTOR
(or press TUNER on the
remote control) to select
TUNER as the input
source.

Press FM/AM to select the reception band.
“FM” or “AM” appears on the front panel display.

Press TUNING MODE so that the “AUTO”
indicator lights up on the front panel display.
If a colon (:) appears on the front panel display, press
PRESET/TUNING to turn it off.

Rotate MULTI JOG to begin automatic tuning.
Rotate rightward to tune into a higher frequency, or
rotate leftward to tune into a lower frequency.
When tuned into a station, the “TUNED” indicator
lights up and the frequency of the received station is
shown on the front panel display.

Manual tuning
If the signal from the station you want to select is weak,
you must tune into it manually.
