Chapter 8 Wireless Configuration Table 25 Wireless: AP + Bridge LABEL DESCRIPTIONS Enable Antenna Diversity Select this to use antenna diversity. Antenna diversity uses multiple antennas to reduce signal interference. Enable Breathing Select this box to disable the WLAN LED (light). Clear this box to LED enable the WLAN LED. Enable Spanning Tree Control (STP) (R)STP (Section 8.4.1 on page 139) detects and breaks network loops and provides backup links between switches, bridges or routers. It allows a bridge to interact with other (R)STP -compliant bridges in your network to ensure that only one path exists between any two stations on the network. Select the check box to activate STP on the NWA. Enable Roaming Roaming allows wireless stations to switch from one access point to another as they move from one coverage area to another. Select this checkbox to enable roaming on the NWA if you have two or more NWAs on the same subnet. Apply Reset Note: All APs on the same subnet and the wireless stations must have the same SSID to allow roaming. Click Apply to save your changes. Click Reset to begin configuring this screen afresh.
