Chapter 7 Setup Wizard Figure 24 Wizard: Change Password and Uplink Connection 7.2.3 Step 3 Radio Use this screen to configure the Zyxel Device's radio transmitter(s). • Channel Selection: Select Auto to have the Zyxel Device automatically choose a radio channel that has least interference. Otherwise, select Manual and specify a channel the Zyxel Device will use in the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless LAN. The options vary depending on the frequency band and the country you are in. • Maximum Output Power: Enter the maximum output power of the Zyxel Device. If there is a high density of APs in an area, decrease the output power of the Zyxel Device to reduce interference with other APs. Note: Reducing the output power also reduces the Zyxel Device's effective broadcast radius. Click Prev to return to the previous screen. Click Next to proceed.
