Table 36 Windows XP: Wireless (network) properties: Association LABEL DESCRIPTION Network name (SSID) This field displays the SSID (Service Set IDentifier) of each wireless network. Network Authentication Data Encryption This field automatically shows the authentication method (Share, Open, WPA or WPA-PSK) used by the selected network. This field automatically shows the encryption type (TKIP, WEP or Disable) used by the selected network. Network Key Confirm network key Key index (advanced) Enter the pre-shared key or WEP key.
