Chapter 5 AP Mode 5.1.3 Before You Begin Make sure the ZyXEL Utility is already installed. See the Quick Start Guide for more. To bridge your wired and wireless network using the NWD-270N, the following requirements must be met: • The NWD-270N must be installed on a computer connected to the wired network. • Either bridge the two interfaces (wireless and wired) on the computer (using the Configuration screen) or configure network sharing. • Set the wireless station's IP address to be dynamic if you want the wireless stations to access the wired network or the Internet through the NWD-270N. Before You Begin
Make sure the ZyXEL Utility is already installed. See the Quick Start Guide for more.
To bridge your wired and wireless network using the NWD-270N, the following requirements
must be met:
The NWD-270N must be installed on a computer connected to the wired network.
Either bridge the two interfaces (wireless and wired) on the computer (using the
Configuration
screen) or configure network sharing.
Set the wireless station’s IP address to be dynamic if you want the wireless stations to
access the wired network or the Internet through the NWD-270N. Refer to
Appendix A on
page 97
for how to configure your computer’s IP address.
