Destination MAC Address Enter the target device's MAC address to which the VMG performs a CFM loopback test. 802.1Q VLAN ID Type a VLAN ID (0-4095) for this MA. VDSL Traffic Type This shows whether the VDSL traffic is activated. Loopback This shows how many Loop Back Messages (LBMs) are sent and if there is any inorder or Message (LBM) outorder Loop Back Response (LBR) received from a remote MEP. Linktrace This shows the destination MAC address in the Link Trace Response (LTR). Message (LTM) Set MD Level Click this button to configure the MD (Maintenance Domain) level. Send Loopback Click this button to have the selected MEP send the LBM (Loop Back Message) to a specified remote end point. Send Linktrace Click this button to have the selected MEP send the LTMs (Link Trace Messages) to a specified remote end point. 36.5 OAM Ping Click Maintenance > Diagnostic > OAM Ping to open the screen shown next. Use this screen to perform an OAM (Operation, Administration and Maintenance) F4 or F5 loopback test on a PVC.
