Chapter 3 Connection Wizard Table 5 Connection Wizard - Access Point Mode> Device Information LABEL DESCRIPTION - IP Address This shows the LAN port's IP Address. - IP Subnet Mask This shows the LAN port's IP Subnet Mask. - DHCP Server This shows the LAN port's DHCP server status. WLAN Information -MAC Address This shows the wireless adapter MAC Address of your device. - Status This shows the current status of the Wireless LAN - Enabled or Disabled. - Name (SSID) This shows a descriptive name used to identify the WAP3205 v3 in the wireless LAN. - Channel This shows the channel number which you select manually or Auto when the WAP3205 v3 automatically scans and selects the Wireless Lan's channel. - Operating Channel This shows the current channel number the WAP3205 v3 uses over the wireless LAN. - Security Mode This shows the data encryption method the WAP3205 v3 uses for the wireless connection. - 802.11 Mode This shows the IEEE 802.11 standard that the WAP3205 v3 supports. Wireless clients must support the same standard in order to be able to connect to the WAP3205 v3. - WPS This displays Configured when the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) has been set up. Run Wizard setup again Go to advanced settings This displays Unconfigured if the WPS has not been set up. Click here to run the Wizard setup one more time. Connection Wizard - Universal Repeater Mode
In Universal Repeater mode, your WAP3205 v3 can act as an access point and wireless client at the
same time.
3.5.1
AP Select
The following screen will open. Use this screen to connect the WAP3205 v3 to a wireless network.
- IP Address
This shows the LAN port’s IP Address.
- IP Subnet Mask
This shows the LAN port’s IP Subnet Mask.
- DHCP Server
This shows the LAN port’s DHCP server status.
WLAN Information
-MAC Address
This shows the wireless adapter MAC Address of your device.
- Status
This shows the current status of the Wireless LAN -
Enabled
or
Disabled
.
