Chapter 4 Modes The following table describes the labels shown in the Status screen. Table 15 Status Screen (Universal Repeater Mode) LABEL DESCRIPTION Device Information System Name Firmware Version LAN Information - MAC Address - IP Address - IP Subnet Mask - DHCP Server WLAN AP Information - MAC Address - Status - Name (SSID) - Channel - Operating Channel - Security Mode - 802.11 Mode - WPS This is the System Name you enter in the Maintenance > System > General screen. It is for identification purposes. This is the current firmware version of the WAP3205 v3. This shows the LAN Ethernet adapter MAC Address of your device. This shows the LAN port's IP address. This shows the LAN port's subnet mask. This shows the LAN port's DHCP server. This shows the wireless adapter MAC Address of your device. This shows the current status of the Wireless LAN - Enabled or Disabled. This shows a descriptive SSID name used to identify the WAP3205 v3 in the wireless LAN. This shows the channel number which you select manually or Auto when the WAP3205 v3 automatically scans and selects the Wireless LAN's channel. This shows the current channel number the WAP3205 v3 uses over the Wireless LAN. This shows the data encryption method the WAP3205 v3 uses for the wireless connection. This shows the IEEE 802.11 standard that the WAP3205 v3 supports. Wireless clients must support the same standard in order to be able to connect to the WAP3205 v3. This displays Configured when the WPS has been set up. WLAN STA Information - SSID - Security Mode - Connection Status System Status Operation Mode System Up Time Current Date/Time Interface Status Interface Status This displays Unconfigured if the WPS has not been set up. This is the name of the selected AP that the WAP3205 v3 is associating with. This shows the wireless security the WAP3205 v3 is using to connect to the wireless device. This shows whether the WAP3205 v3 is currently associated with the selected AP. This field shows the device operating mode: Access Point, Universal Repeater or Client Bridge. This is the total time the WAP3205 v3 has been on. This field displays your WAP3205 v3's present date and time. This displays the WAP3205 v3 port types. For the LAN ports, this field displays Down (line is down) or Up (line is up or connected). For the WLAN, it displays Up when the WLAN is enabled or Down when the WLAN is disabled.
