IL V6 Engine To Check Coolant When your engine is cold, coolant the level should beat FULL COLD, or a little higher. To Add Coolant If you need more coolant, add the proper mix at the surge tank. Thermostat Engine coolant temperature is controlled by a thermostat inthe engine coolant system.
