REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRROR DEFROSTER SWITCH GUID-6A8EA538-4B5A-4260-A4F9-59AA6EEC9D6A The rear window wiper and washer operate when the ignition switch is in the ON position. Turn the switch clockwise from the OFF position to operate the wiper. 1 * 2 * Intermittent (INT) - intermittent operation (not adjustable) Low (ON) - continuous low speed operation To defog/defrost the rear window glass and outside mirrors (if so equipped), start the engine 1 on. The indicator light and push the switch * 2 will come on. Push the switch again to turn * the defroster off. It will automatically turn off in approximately 15 minutes. 3 Push the switch forward * to operate the washer. Then the wiper will also operate several times. CAUTION . SIC3584 Type A When cleaning the inner side of the rear window, be careful not to scratch or damage the rear window defroster. Do not use the rear window defroster switch while the soft top is being operated or fully opened. The heat may damage the soft top material and/or components (CrossCabriolet models). .
