Pullout the dipstick and wipe it,with a clean rag 'or , p,aper towel. 3. Check both sidesof the dipstick, and readthe lower level. The fluid level must in the be cross-hatched area. 2. Push it back in all the way, wait three seconds and then pullit back out ag&. 4. If the fluid level is in the acceptable range, push the dipstick back all the way. in 6-19
