AHA-2740 Series User's Manual connector. To connect SCSI devices to SCSI channel A, you will need either an internal SCSI cable and/or external SCSI cable. To connect SCSI devices to SCSI Channel B, you will need only an internal SCSI cable. Connecting Internal SCSI Devices The internal connector for your host adapter uses a 50-pin SCSI ribbon cable with a 50-pin header internal connector. When connecting the 50-pin internal SCSI ribbon cable to both the host adapter and to the internal SCSI device(s), make sure that Pin 1 orientation is maintained throughout the bus. Pin 1 of the SCSI cable is designated by a colored stripe on one edge of the ribbon cable. Pin 1 of the host adapter or SCSI device connector is usually designated by a delta or arrow symbol (v) on the connector. Note Refer to the manufacturer's instructions to install and mount internal SCSI devices inside your computer chassis. Connecting Internal SCSI Devices
The internal connector for your host adapter uses a 50-pin SCSI
ribbon cable with a 50-pin header internal connector.
When connecting the 50-pin internal SCSI ribbon cable to both the
host adapter and to the internal SCSI device(s), make sure that Pin

Note
