AHA-2740 Series User's Manual Host Adapter BIOS Base Address Select Host Adapter BIOS Base Address to configure the BIOS base address for the host adapter, or to disable the host adapter BIOS. Figure 3-5 displays your choices. The default setting is a base address of D8000h. When choosing the base address, verify that there is no conflict with other devices using the same address-often the Configuration utility will notify you if there is a conflict. Note The BIOS must be enabled in order to boot from a SCSI fixed disk drive attached to the host adapter.
